We began operations in the city of San Luis Potosí in 1997 with the aim of adding value to supply chains by offering innovative solutions in order to make logistics processes more efficient, with emphasis on transportation and storage, while meeting the growing industrial demand of some of Mexico’s main manufacturing regions. Since then, SIP has expanded its services and infrastructure in order to continue contributing to the development of major industrial sectors and organizations that demand efficient supply chains for the provision of raw materials (plastic, resins, steel, metals, minerals, paper, wood, etc.) and other sectors, such as automotive, that demand high reliability when handling specialized products.

Our infrastructure is designed for any type of rail car, truck and container.
The excellent connectivity of our infrastructure is designed to transfer, load and / or unload any type of rail car, truck and container, combining a variety of transports modes, for rail to truck/warehouse to offer our customers the most efficient solution in the most cost-efficient and reliable operation for the handling and transport of goods. We also have the technology and equipment for railway transfer, cross docks, bagging, packing, weighing, storage and inventory control of solid, liquid, palletized and bulk products.
We have the capacity to receive more than 800 rail cars and perform 80 cross dock operations simultaneously.
Our large storage capacity and infrastructure provide the latest technology for inventory management. We have warehouses that meet the different specifications for each of our customers’ needs.
We have a rail scale and a public truck weight for heavy duty loads; our switchyards have the foundation and pavement to receive large volumes of cargo and roadways for transport access.
We have a safety protocol in place and security personnel, CCTV systems and monitoring, as well as perimeter fences for round-the-clock protection and monitoring of our customers’ goods.
We have computer systems and state-of-the-art technology for data control and electronic exchange in order to keep the management and administration of the goods we protect in order. With full visibility for our costumers.
